I want this to be true so badly

To be fair, when Russell was in full propaganda mode for the new logic he was quite capable of blaming subject-predicate logic for the oppression of women, famine in China, and the First World War.
From Brandom's "Hegel and Analytic Philosophy". Sadly, no footnotes to the relevant Russelliana are provided.

Perhaps start by perusing BR's entry on Hegel in History of West. Phil.: a bit glib at times, but actually a fairly technical discussion of Hegelian logic, and its relation to Hegel's historicism and politics (and it's not just a dismissal as some neo-Hegelians assume. Russell WAS a Hegelian for some time).

The catholic encyclopedia provides another interesting entry on Hegel (the older papists placed GWFHegel even lower in Hades than a Russell--or they did, but wit' Herr Doktor Ratzinger, that might be changed....).

Yeah, this seems more plausible now than when I wrote it at four in the morning. Russell probably does go pretty quickly from subject-predicate logic -> monism -> injustice the world over.

Yr far too weak to be a Hegelian, Lindstein. And I doubt you wannabe play Hegel-hardball (nor does a Brandom and Co_--tho' after reading his little college-town belch, he apparently does want to play hardball. I wonder what Bob'd think if like the mafia showed up during his office hours)
